Exhibition shots of my two-person show with Pamela Valfer. COMMON PLACE was a collaborative experiment, dealing with the slippery idea of place. My work consisted of paintings, collage and readymades all derived from people's literal descriptions of places and locations. Their descriptions were formally deconstructed, based upon strict limitations influenced by the meaning of the words used. This exhibition was part of EVA International, a biennial based in Limerick Ireland, which showed from June-July 2012.
