My approach to the idea of painting and perception have caused me to blind myself. All colors are pre-mixed, either based on the found source image or the description of color and memory. As I study the image or the actual descriptive words, my right arm works to record everything I see. All the while I am making sure to NOT look at the substrate. The outcome is a version of truth, hopefully made more universal in it's abstraction.
